Returning to the beautiful, scenic Desert Rose Ranch during a recent trip to Virginia was truly a pleasure. It was great to see how you've continued to maintain a top-notch working ranch, Bob. And hearing of your well-conceived plans to establish a winery in the near future renewed our admiration for a cowboy who always has his sights set toward future goals. The only regretable part of our visit was that Linda was away attending a social activity with her granddaughter, as a proud grandma should have been. Thanks for the fine DRR hospitality shown to us, and our close friends, Niles and Marilyn.

Good to see you both again and meet your friends Niles and Marilyn plus appreciate your kind comments. We hope you come back for the winery opening next year and perhaps "picking" this fall. |

Hi- I would send you an e-mail, but I didn't see an address. I live in Delaplane and have a small farm (Dutch Warmblood and Selle Francais. I know very little about Arabians. I have a friend who just purchased two Arabians in the UAE. I'm sure the breeding is excellent. She is looking for a place in Fauquier, as her family owns property here, to board and train them. She does not live here full time. I would like to put her in touch with you. If this is not a service you provide than perhaps you can recommend someone. The horses are in the UEA and she will arrange the shipping. Thanks in advance.

Bob, Linda Betsy and I really had a good time at your ranch talking with guests, and we enjoyed all of the great food you provided. Thank you so much for always including us at your events!!! You are not going to believe this (or maybe you will) but Betsy and I sat down and watched the first two DVD’s of your horse breeding/training as soon as we got home on Sunday. Geez Bob, we were really impressed. You did a fantastic job!! As you know, Betsy and I know little about horses yet we found the material you covered to be very interesting. We especially liked the birthing and imprinting episode you demonstrated. You not only kept the mare and baby calm as you explained, but you were really cool yourself! I really believe that whether or not horse owners are interested in breeding, they would still find your first two DVD’s as interesting as we did! Thanks again for your hospitality. Cheers, Fred & Betsy

Wonderful site. I have always admired the Arabian horse for their beauty and brains. I live in the middle of Quarter horse country so I don't get to see to many of these beauties.

Although we love Florida life, visits to beautiful places like the Desert Rose Ranch and great folks like you and your family are things we miss. Thinking back over some of the trials and tribulations you've faced -- and conquered -- over the past decade, you both richly deserve all you've worked so hard to achieve. We'll always count you among our close friends and wish you the very best in the future. Fantastic web site!!!
